My Thoughts on SEO and Ahrefs

In the video linked below, RJ Huebert, managing principal at HBT Digital Consulting, shares his thoughts on local SEO, as well as ways to improve your website with the Ahrefs tool.

First thing’s first, your business needs to be listed with Google My Business and Bing Places for Business. These listings will allow you to showcase everything pertinent about your business: address, website, photos, reviews, and more. The listings are free, and will help your site’s SEO almost immediately.

For those that are looking to get a bit more technical, Ahrefs may be for you. This is a fantastic tool that allows you to see your website’s health score, along with any errors that may be present. It is pricey, but it allows you to check out your site’s backlinks, what your competitors are doing, and much more. It’s advanced, and awesome!
